Photoshop eyes.?

Can somebody please give me some help on how to edit eyes in photoshop similar to this picture.

just off the top of my head, i'd say:

1. make the pic black and white

2. add a layer for each color that you'll use. that image looks like it has five colors (blue, fuschia, pink, dark gold, and light gold). make sure that the layers are arranged in the correct order. the pink should be on top of the fuschia and the light gold should be on top of the dark gold.

3. paint a dot for each color (one on each of your 5 layers) in a place where you are sure that the color will be. it doesn't have to be exact.

4. use the smudge tool to push the color around (following the curve of the eye). because you're on different layers, you can always erase part of one color or make one color ''invisible'' for a moment to see the color under it.

that's the best advise i can give you to get a similar effect without searching endlessly for a good ''texture'' to use ~
